 Dustin Clayton Carpenter, age 38, of Beattyville, Kentucky, passed away on September 6, 2026, following an automobile accident.

   Born on May 23, 1988, in Middletown, Ohio, Dustin carried the values of hard work, loyalty, and compassion throughout his life. He was known by those who loved him as a selfless, loving, and kind man whose presence brought comfort and strength to others. He lived with a quiet humility and a generous spirit, touching many lives through his steady example and the care he showed to everyone around him. Dustin was a devoted husband to Nickia Carpenter and a proud and loving father to Weston Clay Carpenter, Ellie Rae Carpenter, and Tatum Nicole Carpenter. His family was the center of his world, and he found great joy in being present for the people he loved most. He treasured time spent with his wife and children, and he worked hard each day to provide for them and to build a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion. He was preceded in death by his parents and two special brothers. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life, and the love of family shaped the man he became. Dustin carried forward the lessons of strength, perseverance, and compassion that were instilled in him, and he honored those values in the way he lived and served others.

   Dustin was employed as the Commissary Clerk and Class D Assistant at Three Forks Regional Jail, where he was respected for his dedication, professionalism, and sense of duty. He approached his work with seriousness and integrity, understanding the importance of responsibility and service. His coworkers and those who knew him through his career will remember him as dependable, respectful, and committed to doing his part with honor. A Christian by faith, Dustin sought to live in a way that reflected his beliefs. His faith was an important part of his life and provided him with strength, guidance, and hope. He was a man who believed in treating others with dignity and kindness, and his actions often spoke as clearly as his words. Those who knew him will remember his gentle heart, his willingness to help, and the warmth he brought into every room. Dustin Clayton Carpenter will be deeply missed by his wife, children, family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. Though his time on earth ended far too soon, the love he gave and the example he set will remain in the hearts of many. His life was a testament to devotion, faith, and kindness, and his memory will be cherished.

  Services held September 11th, 2026 at Booneville Funeral Home. Burial; Pleasant Grove Cemetery of Owsley County, KY. The Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
