EDNA IRENE ROSS BRANDENBURG, the wife of Sutton Dean Brandenburg of Beattyville, Kentucky, and the daughter of the late Brad and Joyce Overbee Ross, was born in Hazard, Kentucky on June 13, 1959, and departed this life in Winchester, Kentucky on October 13, 2026, at the age of 67 years and 4 months. She was a homemaker and attended Abba’s House church. In addition to her husband Dean, Mrs. Brandenburg is survived by one daughter, Deana Brandenburg of Beattyville; three grandchildren, Preston, Paitynn and Parker; three sisters, Sharon, Jean and Sally all of Ohio; a stepbrother, Eddie of Ohio; her brothers and sister-in-law, Bennie and Mary Jo Brandenburg, Paul David and Anna Brandenburg, and Diane and Greg Best; her special nieces and nephews, Dylan and Sierra Brandenburg and children Ellie and Sadie, Carrie Jo and Austin Garrett, Shina and Logan Noble and son Shane Michael, Alyssa Helton, Sunshine and Megan Spencer, Angel and Nicole Best and son Sutton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Brandenburg was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Derek Scott Brandenburg; a grandchild, Dustyn; two brothers, Johnnie and Jackie; her father and mother in-law Sutton and Carrie Brandenburg; Nancy Brandenburg and Phyllis and Bill Spencer.
Services held 10/16/26 at Newnam Funeral Home of Beattyville. Burial; Brandenburg Some Farm Cemetery of Lee Co. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
