Anna Neeley

Anna Neeley, 80, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away June 12, 2024 at her residence after a long illness.

Anna was born on December 29, 1943 in Wolfe County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late John and Rosie Watkins Ratliff. Anna was a caretaker, cook, homemaker and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Anna was survived by her daughter Mrs. Charlotte Gabbard of Booneville, Kentucky, two sons Mr. Wayne “Trena” Neeley of Booneville, Kentucky and Mr. Deron Ratliff of Booneville, Kentucky, grandchildren Mr. Dustin “Brandi” Marshall of Booneville, Kentucky, Mr. Justin “Amanda” Gabbard of Booneville, Kentucky, Ms. Ciera Ratliff of Booneville, Kentucky, Mr. Austin Neeley of Booneville, Kentucky, Mrs. Angel “Rick” Hernandez of Booneville, Kentucky, great grandchildren Blakely Marshall, Wylee Marshall & Ryett Marshall, Rachael Gabbard, Nevaeh Gabbard, Chris Gabbard, Zayden Hernandez and Taylor “Catlin” Triplett and one great-great grandchild, Taylin Elsie Triplet, three brothers Mr. Sonny “Frances” Ratliff of Booneville, Kentucky, Mr. Johnny “Phyllis” Ratliff of Booneville, Kentucky and Mr. Donnie Ratliff of Booneville, Kentucky and two sisters Mrs. Betty Sizemore of Booneville, Kentucky and Mrs. Virginia Keller of Beattyville, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Rosie Watkins Ratliff, her husband Bobby Neeley, her son Shawn Ratliff, two brothers Miles Ratliff and Mike Ratliff and two sisters Mary McIntosh and Lisa Metcalf.

Visitation was held Monday, June 17, 2024 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, funeral services was held Monday, June 17, 2024 at 4:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. Officiating the service was Brother Rob Morgan. Burial followed in the New Hope Cemetery.
