Jayme Marcum appointed as new agent of Owsley County Farm Bureau

Jayme Marcum has been appointed as a new agent with Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) Mutual Insurance Company at the Owsley County Farm Bureau office. Marcum’s appointment was announced in Louisville by Chuck Osborne, Vice President of Agency Support & Marketing for KFB Insurance.

Marcum attended Somerset Community College. Prior to becoming a Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance agent, he worked in the newspaper industry for 13 years and 10 years in sales; three years as his sales team’s general manager.

In his new position, Marcum will call on the residents of Owsley County to offer a wide variety of insurance coverage through KFB Insurance. He will work with the Agency Manager, Todd Campbell, and the staff at the Owsley County Farm Bureau located at 50 KY 11 S, Booneville, KY 41314, and can be reached at (606) 593-5773.

Marcum joins a well-established network of more than 400 KFB Insurance agents statewide. The company, founded in 1943, has offices in all of the Commonwealth’s 120 counties and markets a wide variety of insurance lines, from homeowner and automobile coverage to life and health insurance and retirement planning.

The insurance services are affiliated with Owsley County Farm Bureau, one of the largest membership organizations in the county. KFB members have access to a variety of membership services, including discount buying programs, college scholarships, farm marketing, and leadership development activities.
