Alex Neeley,

Alex Neeley, age 53, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at The Hospice Compassionate Care Center, in Richmond, KY. Alex was born November 8, 1971 in Salem, IN, a son to the late Randall Glenn & Piney (Taylor) Neeley. He was a longtime member of the Owsley County Sportsman’s Club, and in his free-time he enjoyed skeet shooting with his son, building firearms, and Cincinnati Reds Baseball. More than anything, he loved being a dad. He is survived by 1 son; Randon Neeley of Richmond, KY, 2 sisters; Kellie (Donnie) Bushelman, and Michelle Neeley, aunt; Patty Mays, special cousin; Elizabeth Edwards, as well as other family members, and friends.

   He was preceded in death by his parents; Randall & Piney Neeley. A graveside service was held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at  the McIntire Cemetery with Pastor William McKelvey officiating. He was laid to rest beside his father in the McIntire Cemetery. The Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
