Wanda Amis Wilder, 78, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at the Owsley County Health Care Center in Booneville, Kentucky following a long illness. Wanda was born September 13, 1947 in Owsley County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Edd and Opal Gray Amis. Wanda was a homemaker and a member of the Fountainhead Baptist Church. Wanda is survived by her son Mr. Eric “Amy” Cooper of Salisbury, North Carolina; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Virginia “Rolfes” Hensley of Crescent Springs, Kentucky; two nieces, one nephew, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the Owsley County Health Care Center for their excellent service and kindness. She is preceded in death by her parents Edd and Opal Gray Amis; one sister, Teresa Amis and one brother, Eugene Amis.
