Susan Lee Lambert Bearden, age 48, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the UK – Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was born October 25, 1976 in Hyden, KY, a daughter to the late Lee Lambert & Mary (Osborne) Lambert. Susan loved being with family and friends; always making them laugh with her sense of humor. She had a caring heart, with a sweet personality. In her spare-time she loved to crochet, making crafts, fishing, and being with her fur babies.
Susan is survived by her son; Scottie Gentry, sister; Julia (Joe) Evans, her fiancé; Ron Vires, nephew; Tyler (Alyssa) Evans, great-niece; Josie Mae Evans, great-nephew; Tyler Creed Evans, special aunt; Roseann Rice, and a host of other family members & friends, who will miss her dearly. Along with her parents; Lee and Mary (Osborne) Lambert, she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents; Gillie and Bessie (Holland) Osborne, and paternal grandparents; Frank and Maude (Gamble) Lambert.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm at the Booneville Funeral Home with Brother John Spicer officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Lambert Cemetery in Beattyville, KY. The Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Scottie Gentry, Ron Vires, Joe Evans, Tyler Evans, Paul Osborne, Billy Bowling, and Lowell White.
