These contributions reflect PRTC’s ongoing commitment to supporting the brave men and  women who volunteer their time and risk their lives to protect our rural communities. Volunteer fire departments are critical to public safety—especially in remote areas where emer gency resources can be limited.

“Strong communities are built on neighbors helping neighbors, and our volunteer fire depart ments embody that spirit every day,” said Keith Gabbard, PRTC CEO.

“As we celebrate  PRTC’s 75th Anniversary, it feels especially meaningful to continue giving back to the people  and organizations who make our communities stronger.

These donations are one way we  can show our gratitude for their service.”

PRTC remains dedicated to community service and to investing in initiatives that improve the  quality of life for the people we serve. This donation is a token of our deep appreciation for  the life-saving work these volunteers perform every day. You can also make a difference in  your community with ease by enrolling in PRTC’s Change It Up program, which rounds your  monthly bill to the nearest dollar. Every cent raised goes directly to support local nonprofits,  including cancer funds, food banks, volunteer fire departments, and many more.
