Mrs. Sharlene Hudson, 71, passed away January 11, 2024 at the AdventHealth Manchester Hospital in Manchester, Ky., following a long illness.
She was born June 17, 1952 in Oneida, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Emery and Mary Taylor Hudson and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 50+ years, Mr. Walter Hudson of Booneville, Kentucky; three sons: Mr. Shawne Hudson of Booneville, Kentucky, Mr. Robbie Hudson and wife Cassie of Booneville, Kentucky and Mr. Brandon . Hudson of Booneville, Kentucky; four grandchildren: Caitlin Hudson, Cayden Hudson, Chelbie Hudson and Chaya Hudson of Booneville, Kentucky and two brothers: Mr. Ricky Hudson and wife Mildred of Booneville, Kentucky and Mr. Claude Hudson of Tyner, Kentucky. Also many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Emery and Mary Taylor Hudson, three brothers: Norris Hudson, Gean Hudson and Wayne Hudson and three sisters: Irene Sandlin, Christine Reed and Robin Allen.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hudson was held on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Searcy & Strong Funeral Home. Officiating the service was Bro, Reed Brock. The burial followed in the Hudson Cemetery in Owsley County, Kentucky.
The Searcy & Strong Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
