Mr. John D. Frost, 84, passed away December 14, 2023 at his residence following a sudden illness.
He was born April 5, 1939 in Ricetown, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Hardin and Ruby Mason Frost. He was the husband of Naomi Wilson Frost and was a coal miner and had many, many other jobs.
He is survived by his loving wife: Naomi Wilson Frost of Booneville, Ky., one daughter: Mrs. LeeAnn Gibson and husband Frank of Walton, Ky., two grandsons: Mr. Dan Gibson of Walton, Ky. and Mr. Tim Gibson and wife Katelyn of Bloomington, Indiana, one brother: Mr. Bob Frost and wife Charlotte of Louisville, Ky. and one sister: Mrs. Sandra Frost of Booneville, Ky. Also he leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Hardin and Ruby Mason Frost and two brothers: Verlon Frost and Mike Frost.
Funeral services for Mr. Frost were held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation at 11:00 a.m. at the Searcy & Strong Funeral Home. Officiating the service was Bro. Lonnie Moore. The burial followed in the Hardin-Wilson Cemetery on Hwy. 1503 in Owsley County.
The Searcy & Strong Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
