Lucian Wilson, age 80, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Menifee Meadows Care Center in Frenchburg, KY.
Lucian was born on May 28, 1945 in Booneville, KY, a son of the late Pet Wilson, Jr and Minnie Frances (Cole) Peters. He retired from General Motors in Michigan after 31 years of service. He was a fan of the Detroit Tigers baseball team, NASCAR, and enjoyed playing Rook with family and friends.
Lucian was the beloved Father of 1 Son, Ray Charles Wilson of Lexington, KY; 2 Daughters, Lucinda C. Smith of Michigan, and Clarissa R. Hind of Arizona. In addition to his children, he is survived by 4 brothers and 5 sisters, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
Along with his parents, Lucian was preceded in death by his ex-wife Carolyn Wilson the mother of his children, 2 brothers Jimmy and Robert Wilson and 1 granddaughter, Cara Smith.
Services held Feb. 28, 2026 at Booneville Funeral Home. Burial in Jonathan Wilson Cemetery of Booneville. Booneville Funeral in charge of arrangements.
