Linda S. Whisman Brandenburg, loving wife of James “Jim Tom” Brandenburg and daughter of the late Isaac Whisman, Jr. and Marie Gross Whisman was born in Leeco, Kentucky on September 8, 1946 and departed this life at her home in Beattyville, Kentucky on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the age of 79 years, 3 months, and 4 days. She was a member of Jimmy Swaggart ministries and a long-time business owner and operator of Riverside Dairy Bar and Brandenburg Furniture. In addition to her husband, Jim Tom, Linda is survived by her two sons, Michael S. Brandenburg and wife Jessica of Katy, Texas and Thomas K. Brandenburg of Beattyville; three grandchildren, Conner, Kaitlyn, and Christina; a brother, Larry W. Whisman; a brother-in-law, Charles Ed Brandenburg and wife Barbara; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Brenda Crum.
Services held December 15th, 2025 at Newnam Funeral Home of Beattyville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery of Lee Co. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
