Lennie Mae Herald, age 81, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at her residence in Booneville, KY.
Lennie Mae was born February 24,1943 in Owsley County, KY, a daughter to the late Celbert and Dezzie (Clem) Rowlette. She was a homemaker and member of Cow Creek Old Regular Baptist Church, a member of Susan Chapter #106, Irvine #357 and dual with Martha Clark #201 of the Order of Eastern Star of Kentucky
She is survived by 2 Daughters; Teresa (Kevin) Cleary, of Sadieville, KY, Tricia Ann (Michael) Francis, of Sadieville ,KY, 2 grandchildren; Tucker Dakota Francis and Kiarra Ti-Ann Francis. 1 Brother; Estill (Shirley) Farmer of Nicholasville, KY. 1 Sister; Donna Brandenburg, of Beattyville, KY, and many other loving family members & friends.
Along with her parents; Celbert and Dezzie Rowlette, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Reverend Virgil Herald, 2 Brothers; Jesse Rowlette, Celbert Rowlette Jr.,3 Sisters; Irene Congelton, Mattie Congelton, Connie Wolfinbarger.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Turner officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove cemetery located in Booneville, KY.
