Lee McKinney, son of the late Hubert and Susie Griffin McKinney was born in Lee County, Kentucky on January 27, 1945 and departed this life in Winchester, Kentucky on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at the age of 80 years, 10 months, and 10 days.
Mr. McKinney is survived by two children, Melissa Long and Jarvis McKinney; three grandchildren, Aaron Burns, Heather Halsey, and Joey Sparks; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, John McKinney; and his siblings, Hubert McKinney, Jr., Wayne and Wallace McKinney, Ruby Estes, Wanda Arvin, Lucille Goe, and Gertrude McQueen.
Visitation Friday, December 12, at noon til 2pm at Newnam Funeral Home. Funeral to follow visitation. Burial; Beatty Place cemetery of Lee Co. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
