Kenneth Dwight “Duke” Morris, husband of Raelee Crisp Morris and son of the late Howard and Daisy Edith Allen Morris was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on September 6, 1952 and departed this life in Jackson, Kentucky on March 18, 2026 at the age of 73 years, 6 months, and 12 days. He was a retired Supply Clerk from Congleton Bros. Hardware Store and attended the Lynams Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Raelee Morris of Beattyville, Kentucky, Mr. Morris is survived by his mother and father-in-law, Charles and Rada Crisp; a sister, Juanita Burton Stamper; nieces and nephew, Charnell Burton, Tiffany Napier and husband Donald, Mary Ann Gramig and husband Keith, and Adam Morris; his special friends, Wendell Childers, Ernie Morris, Perry Thorpe, and Roger Deaton all of Beattyville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Daisy Morris; a brother, Paul Deway.
Services held March 23, 2026 at Newnam Funeral Home of Beattyville. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
