Joyce Barrett, age 80, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY.
Joyce was born June 7, 1943 in Hazard, KY, a daughter to the late George Marshall Jr., and Mary (Thomas) Marshall. She was a homemaker, and spent her days taking care of her beloved family.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Linda (Tommy) Barrett, and Connie Turner, 3 sons; Paul Wayne Barrett, David Allen Barrett, and Larry (Lisa) Barrett, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving family members, and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Lester Pearl Barrett, 2 sons; Lawrence Barrett, and Gary Barrett, grandson; Michael Tolson, 3 brothers, 7 sisters, son-in-law; Benny Turner, and daughter-in-law; Tracy Barrett.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Booneville Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in the Shepherds Memorial Cemetery in Booneville, KY.
