Jean Marie Addison, age 70, departed this life on December 19, 2025, at the Rockcastle Health and Rehab Center after a long illness, and went to heaven. She was born on September 7, 1955, to Hubert and Edith Spencer Addison. She was a Baptist. She had a passion for giving every Christmas at the nursing home. She would give toys to the caretaker’s kids. She also went to Bible study and church every Sunday.
She is survived by two sisters; Rosa Lee Eversole of Beattyville and Stella Sue Dunaway of Jackson, Kentucky; one niece, Mary Stamper of Jackson; two nephews, James (Jennifer) Addison of Menifee, California and Matthew (Ashley) Eversole of Winchester, Kentucky; 15 nieces and nephews, Mark, Ryan, Paige, Caitlin, Nathan, Alison, Ashley, Makayla, John, Aaron, Mary, Evan, Aaron, Brody and Hudson.
Funeral held December 27, 2025 at Newnam Funeral Home of Beattyville. Burial in Shepherd Cemetery of Booneville. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
