Ella Frances Bowman Addison, 93, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away March 18, 2026 at her residence surround by her family following a long illness. Ella was born April 21, 1932 in Owsley, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Tinsley and Lena Gertrude Botner Bowman . Ella was the wife/widow for 67 years of James Golden Addison. Ella was a dedicated Christian mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Booneville United Methodist Church. Ella worked for 38 years as a social worker for the Department of Human Resources. Ella is survived by her son Mr. Steven J. Addison of Booneville, Kentucky, a daughter Mrs. Debra “Tony” Burch of Booneville, Kentucky, four grandsons

Several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Tinsley and Lena Gertrude Botner Bowman and husband James Golden Addison.
Services March 21st, 2026 at the Booneville United Methodist Church with Brother Jamie Brunk and Brother David Bardin officiating. Burial at the Bowman-Seale Cemetery, Booneville, Kentucky. Searcy and Strong Funeral Home in charge of all arrangement.
