DOUGLAS WAYNE OLINGER, the husband of Sabrina McIntosh Olinger of Beattyville, Kentucky, and the son of the late Roy and Geraldine McIntosh Olinger, was born in Campton, Kentucky on July 10, 1970, and departed this life in Lee County, Kentucky on July 10, 2026, at the age of 56 years. He was a sawmill operator for Lee County Wood Products. In addition to his wife Sabrina, Mr. Olinger is survived by one son, Matthew Olinger of Beattyville; his mother in-law, Glenna McIntosh of Beattyville; two sisters, Rosetta McIntosh of Stanton, Kentucky and Molly Vires of Irvine, Kentucky; his half-brothers, Randall and David Caldwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Olinger was preceded in death by his parents; son Justin Ray Olinger, a brother, Jerry; and two sisters, Gayle and Betty.
Services held July 14, 2026 at Newnam Funeral Home of Beattyville. Burial in Couch- Brandenburg Cemetery of Lee Co. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
