Delonda Lynn Gentry of Beattyville, Kentucky was born in Oneida, Kentucky on August 9, 1968 to the late Charles Edward and Regina Kay Robinson Gentry and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on Monday, July 13, 2026 at the age of 57, years, 11 months, and 4 days. She was a member of the Beattyville Church of the Nazarene. Lynn is survived by one sister, Donna Redbrook and husband Arthur Eugene; one brother, Robert Dale Gentry all of Zoe, Kentucky; her best friend of 40 years, Sheila Carol McKinney of Booneville, Kentucky; special nieces and nephew, Bethany Isaacs, Alisha Turner, and Scotty Lambert; her adopted nieces, Vanessa and Cat; a special aunt, Carol Ratliff Taylor; her service dog and best canine friend, Amora; and a host of several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, Charles and Regina Gentry, Lynn was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Edward Gentry.
A Memorial Service and graveside service will be scheduled at a later date. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
