David T. Johnson, age 57, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026 at his residence. David was born October 27, 1968 in Irvine, Kentucky, a son of Tommy Johnson and the late Orlena Noble. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved riding four-wheelers, horses and spending time with friends. He also enjoyed drawing and collecting guns and knives. One of his greatest joys was providing food through his love of hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his father; Tommy Johnson of Beattyville, Kentucky, two sons; Brandon McIntosh of Booneville, Kentucky, and D.J. Johnson, of Lexington, Kentucky, two daughters; Samantha McIntosh of Booneville, Kentucky and Deveen Johnson of Smithville, Tennessee, one sister; Kathleen Johnson of Somerset, Kentucky, four grandchildren; Serenity, Damon and Grayson Smith and Aurora Gabbard, two nieces; Katie Wiles (Mason) and Priscilla Loveless (Logan), two great-nephews; Oliver Wiles and Barrett Loveless and one great niece; Laramie Loveless, two aunts; Lizzie Roberts and Dora Jean Johnson, one great-uncle, Carl McIntosh and many other loving family members and friends. Along with his mother, Orlena Noble, he was proceeded in death by his brother; Harold Johnson, his grandparents; Robert and Minnie Johnson, Seldon and Jalie Noble, and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services held Monday, July 13, 2026 at the Booneville Funeral Home. Pastor James Overbee officiating. The Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
