Clyde Paul Ramey, 96, passed away October 22, 2023 at his residence in Lexington, Ky., following a long illness.
He was born December 15, 1926 in Lincoln County, Ky. He was the son of the late James White & Anna May Taylor Ramey and was the widower of Loretta Jackson Ramey. He was a retired merchandise worker and a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Ramey is survived by a daughter: Ms. Joyce Ann Ramey, two sisters: Mrs. Louise Ramey Hammond & Mrs. Rosemary Ramey Callhoun and several relatives &friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James White & Anna May Ramey, his wife: Loretta Ramey and four sisters: Ruth Ann Ramey, Pearl Ramey Taylor, Margaretta Ramey Amburgey & Faye Ramey Smith.
Graveside funeral services were held Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the A.J. Combs Cemetery with the Bro. Randy Maynard officiating. Burial followed in the A.J. Combs Cemetery at Pebworth, Ky.
