Charlotte Marie Lawson, daughter of the late Clarence and Spicie Mae Seale Lawson was born in Richmond, Kentucky on November 14, 1954 and departed this life in Irvine, Kentucky on February 25, 2026 at the age of 71 years, 3 months, and 11 days. She was a retired Jailer of the Three Forks Regional Jail and attended the Pinecrest Church of God. She is survived by her three children, Andrea Collins and husband Chris, Denim Koops, and Sean Flanagan all of Beattyville, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Zachary Rogers also of Beattyville, Trystan and Kaya Vandergraff of Noblesville, Indiana, and Maddox and Ellie Flanagan of Beattyville; brothers and sister, Gwendolyn Overbee, and Ray and Terry Lawson; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy and Roger Lawson; and one sister, Francis Thomas.
Services held March 1, 2026 at Newnam Funeral Home. Burial in Couch Brandenburg Cemetery of Beattyville. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
