Betty Louise Young passed away on February 23, 2026 with her loving husband of 61 years, Hubert Young, by her side. Born November 26, 1943, Betty is survived by her husband Hubert Young, her son, Wayne Young, her brothers, Phillip College and Conrad College, Jr., her sister, Angie Tipton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was a loving mother and dedicated spouse. After retiring from Square D, she cherished her visits to Houston to spend time with her son who was the joy of her life. They traveled the world together where she charmed everyone she met. She always looked forward to those trips, and her only complaint was not knowing which clothes to wear. In the last few weeks of her life on this earth, Betty constantly spoke of her love and pride for her family.
Services held Feb. 28, 2026 at Newnam Funeral Home. Burial in Ross Cemetery of Beattyville. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
