Austin Tyler Reed, 26, passed away October 25, 2023 surrounded by his loving family and friends at his residence following a short illness.
He was born October 6, 1997 in Jackson, Kentucky. Austin was the son of Jason & Kimberly Morris Reed. He was a college graduate, loved sports of all kinds, worked at the Ole Bus Stop Diner in Booneville with his family and was a member of the Wilson Fork Free Pentecostal Church.
Austin is survived by his loving family: his parents: Mr. & Mrs. ason & Kimberly Reed of Booneville, Ky., his girlfriend: Ms. Lindsey Wolf of Beattyville, Kentucky, sister: Mrs. Kayla D. Roark of Booneville, Kentucky, brother: Mr. Logan Reed of Booneville, Kentucky, grandmothers: Mrs. Clarice Terry of Booneville, Kentucky and Mrs. Emily Pittman of Nicholasville, Kentucky, niece & nephew: Abby & Eli Shelton of Booneville, Kentucky, his bubby & pet: Hank. Also there are several relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Virgil & Barbara Reed and Danny Green.
Funeral services for Mr. Reed were held Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wilson Fork Free Pentecostal Church, with the visitation onSaturday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Owsley County High School Gymnasium. Officiating the service on Sunday was Bro. Walter Turner & Bro. Brandin Davis. Burial followed in the Reed Family Cemetery on Hwy. 708 in Booneville, Kentucky.
Searcy & Strong Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
