Lenville Dail Haney, husband of Marlene Joyce Noble Haney and son of the late Lenville and Vada Stacey Haney was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 25, 1944 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on September 14, 2025 at the age of 81 years and 20 days. Mr. Haney proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War and retired from the Department of Agriculture after working as a supply clerk for over 30 years. He was devoted member of the Beattyville Baptist Church. Mr. Haney is survived by his loving wife, Marlene of Beattyville, Kentucky; a daughter, Kristin Martin and husband Christopher of Powell, Ohio; two granddaughters, Catherine and Madison Martin; his brothers and sister, David Haney of Lexington, Kentucky, Naomi Williams of Lebanon, Ohio, and Jerry Michael Haney of Bradenton, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Haney was preceded in death by a son, Nathaniel Haney; and two brothers, Kenneth and Danny Joe Haney.
Services held Sept. 20, 2025 at Newnam Funeral Home of Beattyville. Burial; White Strong Cemetery of Jackson, KY. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
