Benjamin H. “Bennie” Reece, son of the late Dorsie and Edith Howard Reece was born in Beattyville, Kentucky on March 27, 1958 and departed this life at his home in Beattyville on Friday, July3, 2026 at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 6 days. He was a member of the Heidelberg Pentecostal Church of God.
Bennie is survived by two brothers, Johnny and Tim Reece both of Beattyville, Kentucky; two sisters, Laura Holder also of Beattyville and Joan Baker of Nicholasville, Kentucky; his sister-in-law, Sue Gentry; nieces and nephews, David and Cody Gentry, Timmy Reece, Jr., Charles Steven and Jeremy Scott Reece, Austin Baker, Matthew, Savannah, and Riley Reece; special friends, Naomi Calvert, Thelma Estes, and Carol Barnett; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Bennie was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Steve, and Wesley Reece; one niece, Angie Reece; and one nephew, Jesse Clay Reece.
