Barbara Tolson, age 58, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, located in Hazard, KY.
Barbara was born February 24, 1967 in Winchester, KY, a daughter to the late Finley Tolson, and Edna (Angel) Tolson. She was a homemaker, and in her free-time she loved being with family & friends, but most of all she enjoyed being a grandmother. She is survived by 2 sons; Jimmy (Mindy) Herald, and Kelly (Melissa Southers) Creech, 1 daughter; Jessica (Timothy Barnett) Young, and a special daughter; Jessica Powell, 2 brothers; Marvin Tolson, and Marcus “Porky” Tolson, grandchildren; Kirsten, Trey, Amara, Jimmy Jr., Finley, Alexa, and Kodi Herald, Brayden, Brantley, and Karson Young, Carly and Aidrean Creech, as well as many other loving family members, and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son; Johnny Wayne Creech, siblings; Pamela Logsdon, James E. Tolson, Andrew David Tolson, Michael Tolson, and Carl E. Tolson. Funeral services September 6, 2025 with Pastor David Kraft officiating. The Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
