Barbara A. Spencer, age 73, widow of Michael D. Spencer, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026 at her daughter’s residence in Rogers, KY. Barbara was born October 12, 1952, in Michigan, a daughter to the late Theodore and Beatrice (Dryer) Darling. Barbara was a dedicated homemaker and mother, having a great love for her family. She watched over her husband until his passing in 2010 and adored her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by 1 son; Michael E. (Melissa) Spencer, of Beattyville, Ky, 1 daughter Beth Ann Spencer (Jesse Watkins) of Rogers, KY, 6 grandchildren; Jordon Spencer, Michael G. Spencer, Adora Gatherwright, Sarah Childers, James Mason Frost and Madison Frost, 11 great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years; Michael D. Spencer, and her parents, Theodore and Beatrice Darling.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
