Nancy Ann Bowman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Ann Bowman, age 76, on March 3, 2025. Born on March 1, 1949, in Owsley County, Kentucky, to the late John and Margaret (nee Johnson) Hobbs.
Nancy's love for her family knew no bounds. As a young girl, she cared for her 10 younger siblings, nurturing them with warmth and compassion that would define her character throughout her life. She was always ready to open her home to anyone in need, making everyone feel welcome and cherished. Her generosity extended beyond her family; she created a space filled with laughter and love for all who entered.
Her appreciation for the finer things in life made her a stylish presence, often seen shopping for her favorite brands such as Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, and Tommy Hilfiger. Nancy had a wonderful sense of humor and a knack for light-hearted jokes that brought joy to those around her. Family gatherings meant the world to her, particularly when they combined her love for hosting holidays with her cherished family.
Nancy cherished memorable vacations, whether it was relaxing on the beach, exploring Gatlinburg, or spending quality time with family during extended visits. She had an adventurous spirit and loved the thrill of the casino and often enjoyed a game of bingo or playing cards with her loved ones.
Nancy was the beloved wife to the late Cecil Bowman; Loving mother of Donna (Jeff) Leever, the late Timmy Bowman, and the late Michael Bowman; Cherished grandmother of Cayla, Anthony, Ashley, Andrew, Sydney, Isabel, and Joshua; Great-grandmother of Everett Ray; Dear sister of Kitsy Lee Hobbs, Frieda Combs, Barbara Wheeler, Dorothy Combs, Beatrice Meyiers, Jesse Ray Hobbs, Vernon Ray Hobbs, and Ricky Joe Hobbs.
Along with her husband, parents, and sons; Nancy is preceded in death by two siblings Clint Hobbs and Wilma Jean.
A visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on March 7, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A graveside service will follow at Deerfield Cemetery - 594 Shawhan Road, South Lebanon, OH 45065 at 2:00 PM.
