Judge Little Declares State of Emergency Due to Potential Flooding

Due to the excessive rain forecasted for the upcoming weekend the threat of major flooding is increasing, if anyone needs to evacuate from their home, call Judge Little at 606-493-6605. He will see that the Rec Center will be opened. 

If flooding occurs, DO NOT enter flood waters or a flood zone where you could be trapped in flood waters. We will try to post updates as we get them. Everyone please be safe and mindful.

Judge Little would like to let the citizens of Owsley County know that the county is out and working diligently to check on the roads. The rain is causing flooding throughout the county and they are working to try and keep the culverts from overflowing. If you have any issues or concerns please call Judge Little, your magistrate, county garage, or the road forman.
