Edward Addison

Edward Addison, 80, of Beattyville, Kentucky passed away November 15, 2024 at the Lee County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Beattyville, Kentucky after a long illness.  

     Mr. Addison was born October 22, 1944 in Owsley County, Kentucky.   He was the son of the late George and Mattie Tirey Addison, he was a retired farmer, and                                                                                                                                            a member of the Vincent Baptist Church.  

     He is survived by his son Mr. Jimmy “Ruby” Addison of Booneville, Kentucky and a special friend Ms. Sally Houndshell of Beattyville, Kentucky and several cousins and friends.  

     He is preceded in death by his parents George  and Mattie Tirey Addison, his wife Yvonne Begley Addison and one sister Norma Jean Issacs.  

      Visitation Service was Monday, November 18, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home.  Funeral services was Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Brother Rob Morgan    officiating. Burial followed in the Addison-Reese Cemetery at Elklick, Kentucky. 

     The Searcy and Strong Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
