Phyllis Ratliff

Mrs. Phyllis Ratliff, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away October 11, 2024 at her residence following a brief illness.  

     She was born March 15, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Chelcy and Callie Neeley.   Mrs. Ratliff was a homemaker.  

     Mrs. Ratliff is survived by her husband Mr. Johnny Ratliff of Booneville, Kentucky, one daughter Ms. Rebecca Ratliff of Booneville, Kentucky and one brother  Mr. Ronnie “Joyce” Neeley of Booneville, Kentucky.  Several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends                                                                                      

     Mrs. Ratliff was preceded in death by her parents Chelcy and Callie Neeley, two brothers Bobby Neeley and Joe Neeley, four sisters Bessie Yarber, Doris Gumm,Violet Marshall and Wanda Peters.   

     Pallbearers for Mrs. Ratliff were Sonny Ratliff, Donnie Ratliff, Hershel Ratliff, Nick Chandler, Hunter Reed and Gus Jr. Turner.  

     Visitation was held Monday, October 14, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home, funeral services was held Monday, October 14, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home.  Officiating the service was Brother Dion Ratliff.  Burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Booneville, Kentucky.

     The Searcy and Strong Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
