Alfreda Bowling

Alfreda Bowling, 58, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away June 12, 2024 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky after a long illness.

Alfreda was born on January 12, 1966 in Manchester, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Alfred Bowling and Janice Thomas. Alfreda was disabled and attended the Indian Creek Church.

Alfreda was survived by her sister Mrs. Vonda “Paul” Blanton of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, two nieces Miss Holly Waddle of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Miss Lydia Gibson of London, Kentucky, two nephews Mr. Timothy Jordan Waddle of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Mr. Charles Alfred Gibson of Richmond, Kentucky and a host of grand nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Alfred Bowling, her mother Janice Thomas Campbell, her sister Cheryl Gibson and aunt Judy Thomas Ginsberg.

Visitation was held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home, funeral services was held Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. Officiating the service was Brother Terry Sandlin. Burial followed in the Esau-Gabbard Cemetery on Indian Creek, Kentucky.
