Naomi B. Isaacs

Naomi B. Isaacs, age 100, 11 months and 9 days, of Booneville, Kentucky departed this world on May 29, 2024 at the Advent Health Manchester Hospital.

Mrs. Isaacs was born June 20, 1923 in Lee County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of late Cleveland and Sarah Dunaway Brandenburg.

Mrs. Isaacs was survived by her daughter Mrs. Fannie Isaacs Couch of Booneville, Kentucky, one granddaughter, Mrs. Karisha “Kevin” Hayton of Booneville, Kentucky, two great granddaughters Miss Keleah Hayton and Miss Keira Hayton of Booneville, Kentucky, one great grandson Mr. Kevin R. Hayton of Booneville, Kentucky, four nieces Mrs. Shelia (Bob) Shouse of Stanton, Kentucky, Mrs. Iona Kay (Keith) Gray of Alabama, Ms. Remona Jean Fox of Beattyville, Kentucky and Mrs. Nancy (Jim) Cockerham of North Caroline, three nephews Mr. Donnie (Irene) Fox, Mr. Dannie Cooper, and Mr. Bennie Joe (Kay) Fox all of Beattyville, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents Cleveland and Sarah Dunaway Brandenburg, two sisters Rachel Fox, Norma Lee Cooper and her son-in-law, Mike Couch.

Visitation was held Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Brandenburg Cemetery Southside, Kentucky.
