Bertha (Rowland) Baker

Bertha (Rowland) Baker age 84, widow of Dorsey Baker, passed away Friday, May 25, 2024 at the Owsley County Health Care Center in Booneville, KY.

Bertha was born January 17, 1940 in Booneville, KY, a daughter to the late Lester and Mary (Beard) Rowland. Her greatest love was for her family, her dog Ripley, watching game shows and was member of the Pine Grove Community Church.

She is survived by her son; Ray (Becky) Baker of Oneida, KY, 1 grandson, Michael and 1 granddaughter; Shaleena, along with many nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members, and friends.

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, 1 brother; Sam Rowland, 2 sisters; Susie Baker and Ida Mosley.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home with Pastor Garett Thomas officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, located in Owsley County, KY.
