Jesse Johnson

Jesse Johnson, age 58, of Jackson, Kentucky passed away on May 22, 2024 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky.

Jesse was born July 14, 1965 at Lima, Ohio. He was the son of the late Garland Johnson and Ethel Marie Roberts. He was a former bridge builder.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Tricia Wilder Johnson of Jackson, Kentucky, one son Mr. Jay ( Jennifer) Johnson of Booneville, Kentucky, two daughters Mrs. Candace (Harold) Sebastian of Booneville, Kentucky and Ashley Sexton of Ohio, his mother, Mrs. Ethel Marie Roberts of Booneville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren Trent Sebastian, Ashley Sebastian, Layla Johnson, Parker Johnson, Shelby, Kaleb and Kaylee Sexton, one brother Mr. Dexter Johnson of Booneville, Kentucky, one sister Mrs. Della Thomas of Booneville, Kentucky. Several relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Garland Johnson and his brother, Darrell Johnson.

Visitation was held Sunday, May 26, 2024 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mr. Johnson was held Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home. Officiating the service was the Rev. Henry Malone. Burial followed in the Shepherd’s Cemetery.
