Ray Morris

Ray Morris, age 77, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2023 at Marcum and Wallace Hospital in Irvine, KY.

Ray was born March 20, 1947 in Lee County, KY. a son to the late Harlan and Tillie Morris. He worked in the oil field until his retirement, and in his free-time, he enjoyed being with his family, hunting, fishing.

Ray is survived by his wife; Helen Louise (Thacker) Morris, 1 son; Billy Ray (Cassandra Herald) Morris, 1 daughter; Jeany (William) Phillips, both of Beattyville, KY, Grandchildren; Justin Lee Phillips, Heather Lynn Hogue, Joshua Phillips, Lance Parker Morris, all of Beattyville, KY, Great Grandchildren; Aleah Phillips, Justin Phillips Jr., Toby Phillips, Isabella Hogue, Catherin Hogue, along with many other loving family members, and friends.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 27,2024 at 1:00 PM. at Beatty Place Cemetery in Beattyville, KY. He will be laid to rest at Beatty Place Cemetery located in the Yellow Rock Community of Lee County.
