Linda Lou Riley Brandenburg

Linda Lou Riley Brandenburg, widow of Irvie Lee Brandenburg and daughter of the late Noah and Lorenda Riley Jewell was born in Lee County, Kentucky on September 8, 1969 and departed this life at her home in Beattyville, Kentucky on August 1, 2025 at the age of 55 years, 10 months, and 23 days. She leaves behind her a son and daughter, Kevin Ray Riley (Danielle) of Nicholasville, Kentucky and Miranda Lashay Akers (Tony) of Beattyville; one granddaughter, Shayla Raye Akers; a sister-in-law, Joyce Tipton both of Beattyville; a nephew, Nicholas Jewell; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Irvie and parents, Noah and Lorenda Jewell, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Arkie Vanderpool; sister, Lori Ann Jewell; and her mother and father-in- law, Howell and Betty Brandenburg. Services were held at Newnam Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 with burial following in the Brandenburg Cemetery. Newnam in charge of arrangments.
