Charles Edwin Shouse, age 63, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY.

Charles was born February 27, 1962 in Onedia, KY. A son to the late Vernon and Wilma (Green) Shouse. He was an avid horse lover, and in his spare-time he loved farm and fish. Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years; Reida Jane Shouse. He is survived by his sweetheart; Rita Kilgore, 2 daughters; Melissa Shouse, and Karla Charles (Jeremy) of Beattyville, KY, 2 Brothers; Larry (Judy) Shouse of Beattyville, KY, Daryl (Anella) Shouse of Bonifay, FL, 3 Sisters; Judy Watson, Bonnie (Randy) Hensley both of Beattyville, KY, and Alva Gross of Jackson, KY, 1 grandson; Reid Charles, and many other special family members, and friends.

Funeral services held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Booneville Funeral Home, with Pastor Garrett Thomas officiating. He was laid to rest beside his wife in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, located in Pebworth, KY. The Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
