Louemma Stamper, age 59, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at her daughter’s home in Beattyville, KY. Louemma was born August 25, 1965 in Beattyville, KY, a daughter to the late Ralph Horn, and Oma (Goosey) Stamper. She was a homemaker, and in her free-time she enjoyed listening to music; Elvis being her favorite, watching Gun Smoke, she had a love for animals, and was a big fan of Lucille Ball. More than anything, she loved her family and being a grandmother. Many years ago, when asked by her grandson, “What do you want to be remembered for?” Her response was, “That I was kind.” She is survived by her husband; Algin Stamper, 2 daughters; Kimberly Renee Stamper, and Jennifer (Brandon) Chavez both of Beattyville, KY, 3 sisters; Ruth Young of Beattyville, KY, Carlie Stevens of Irvine, KY, and Elizabeth (Kenneth) Mays of Beattyville, KY, 4 grandchildren; Alexander, Montgomery, Lucian, and Gaige Chavez, as well as many other loving family members & friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Ollie Withers, Susan Phillps, and Faye Conley.

     Funeral services held  May 17, 2025 at the Beattyville First Church of God with Pastor Garett Thomas officiating. Pallbearers: Brandon Chavez, Alexander Chavez, Joe Young, Steven Gross, Charles Cole, and Sam Young. Burial in the Beatty Place Cemetery in Beattyville, KY.  The Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
