Kathy Peters

Kathy Peters, age 70, passed away suddenly Saturday, May 10, 2025 in Beattyville, KY. Kathy was born December 14, 1954 in Jeffersonville, IN, a daughter to the late Russell Osborne and Nellie F. (Jewell) Osborne. She was a homemaker, and in her free-time she enjoyed fishing, camping, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.

    She is survived by 1 son; James (Tammy) Friend of Richmond, KY, 2 daughters; Patricia “Pumpkin” (George) Morgan of Maysville, KY, and Michelle (Duke Allen) Friend of Booneville, KY, 1 brother; Larry Osborne, 3 sisters; Linda Faye Shoemaker, Patricia Taylor, and Emily Allen, 6 grandchildren; Travis (Mary Ratliff) Friend, Duke Allen, Jillian Barborich, James Lee (Breanna) Friend, Heather Friend, and Christopher Morgan, 5 great-grandchildren; Krystal Friend, Clyde Friend, Alexander Friend, Brian Allen, and Abigale Allen, a special friend, Breanna along with a host of other loving family members, and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Charlie Peters, 4 brothers; Otis, Herald, Anthony, and Hubert Osborne.

    Visitation held Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the Booneville Funeral Home. The Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
